Disney Springs has new wait times board for restaurants

Disney Springs is taking a page out of the theme park operations playbook and is starting to list wait times. This list, though, is for restaurants that provide table service.

Outside the Lime Garage entrance next to the large electronic map of this Disney World entertainment complex is a sign listing all of the table service restaurants. The hand-filled sign alerts guests to wait times for tables.

The sign also lists which restaurants are available for reservations only.

On a recent Wednesday night, the sign showed five of the 14 restaurants that were open had no wait times, three restaurants were filled with reservations and the rest had wait times ranging from 15 to 45 minutes.
