Video: Swoto Waya Na’vi Drum Ceremony revamped at Animal Kingdom
Disney World recently revamped the Swoto Waya Na’vi Drum Ceremony at Animal Kingdom, making it shorter and providing a bit more explanation as to what was going on.
The ceremony is performed in the heart of the Valley of Mo’ara by a trio of musicians in Pandora-The World of Avatar area of the park with the floating rocks of Pandora behind the musicians. The group comes out with the gathering song and then call out for the banshee’s to respond.
The ceremony becomes interactive when the musicians ask guests to join and bang on the drums. At the end the banshee roars. The show is about 10 minutes and is performed throughout the day. Here is where you can find performance times.
