Design your own Star Wars Adidas kicks

If you want to walk in the footsteps of one of your favorite Star Wars characters, now you can do it in style. Adidas has launched a new line of customizable Star Wars shoes that let you design a pair of kicks from the soles up.

Whether your style is droid or Dark Side, you can choose colors, charms and Star Wars fabric graphics on either ZX Flex or Superstar styles. Prices start at $100 for adults and $60 for kids.

You can order a pair  or through the “mi adidas” app. The web site offers some suggested starting points — such as a white pair of ZX Flux with silver stripes and a blue metallic heel cage, and R2D2 on the tongue; or the Superstar 80s C3PO pair pictured at right.

Then you can dive in and make them truly your own. You can customize every inch of the shoe, including:

• Colors
• Shoelaces
• Shoe lace jewel, which adds a bit of bling to the base of the shoelaces
• Tongue label
• The color of your Three Stripes
• The colors of your midsole and outsole
