Country duo Maddie and Tae to perform at Epcot this week

Country duo Maddie and Tae will do three shows at Epcot Sept. 7 as part of a whirlwind tour promoting their first album, “Start Here.”

The singer/songwriters made a big splash last summer with “Girl in a Country Song,” the song that claimed girls can do more than sit in a pick-up truck and rock cut-off jeans. Their first full-length album was just released Friday.

They will perform at Epcot’s America Gardens Theater at 5:30 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 8 p.m. Sept. 7.
