What’s closed at Disney World today (1/3/18) due to the weather
The cold and rainy temperatures in Florida have caused the closure and cancellation of a few things at Disney World on Jan. 3, 2018:
All the theme parks are open.
All resort pools are being closed for the day. Resorts that offer hot tubs will have those open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Typhoon Lagoon is closed through Jan. 4, 2018.
Blizzard Beach is already closed for refurbishment.
The performances of the Spirit of Aloha dinner show at the Polynesian Resort have also been cancelled.
Rain is expected all day in the Orlando area with temperatures getting to a high of 48 degrees, according to The Weather Channel. Temperatures tonight will go down to 32 degrees. A frost warning is set from 1 a.m. to 9 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, the morning when the 5K run for the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend.
