Disney History Jan. 2: Disneyland opens a resort and a major closure at Epcot
On this day in Disney History – January 2 – we take a look at a new hotel opening at Disneyland, a major closure at Epcot and a look back at when you first needed to use your finger to enter Disney World.
This is the second in a new series looking back at Disney history. Each day we will bring together highlights from the Disneyland, Disney World, films, television and major events in the Walt Disney Company’s history.
