Disneyland is asking for your help to light the Christmas Tree on Nov. 17

You at home can help Disneyland light the Christmas Tree this year.

Disney not only wants to keep people in the park engaged, but also people at home. And in  another push toward interactivity and use of social media, Disneyland will use Facebook and your reactions to power the Christmas Tree.

On Friday, Nov. 17, 2017 at 5 p.m. PST (that’s 8 p.m. EST) head over to the Disneyland Facebook page to watch and participate in lighting up the Main Street Christmas Tree with “Likes for Lights.”

The 60-foot tree will be lit in real time to coincide with the likes and reactions from you.
