Mark Hamill surprises Star Wars fans at Disneyland
Riding Star Tours and seeing some of your favorite characters from the Star Wars Universe during the ride is always a delight.
But a lucky group of riders at Disneyland got a surprise visit before takeoff from Mark Hamill – Luke Skywalker.
“The captain did mention something about a special passenger, and the force is strong in this one,” the cast member announced before introducing Hamill.
Guests gasped at the surprise and applauded as the 66-year-old actor entered the ride.
“I am so happy to be here at Disneyland with you today,” he said. “The first time I came here, I was a little kid, and I used to daydream about someday working at Disney—so, thank you for making my dream come true.”
He then took a selfie with the group before joining them for the ride.
The reactions from many of those on the ride were priceless. Social media was flooded with photos and videos, including a number from vloggers and bloggers who were on the ride as well.
