Disney’s Princess Elena of Avalor is coming to Disneyland and Disney World summer 2016

Disney’s first princess inspired by Latin cultures will be appear at Disneyland and Disney World starting this summer.

Princess Elena of Avalor will appear at the Disney Parks after making her TV debut in a new animated series this summer on the Disney Channel.

The series follows the story of Elena, “who saves her kingdom from an evil sorceress and must now learn to rule with the support of her appointed Grand Council and some magical friends by her side. Elena’s adventures will lead her to understand that her new role requires thoughtfulness, resilience and compassion, the traits of all truly great leaders, while highlighting the importance of family and family traditions,” according to an official description.

Specific dates of Elena’s appearances will be announced soon, Disney has said, she will appear at the Magic Kingdom in Disney World and at the California Adventure in Disneyland. The Disney Princesses will welcome Elena in August.
