Dinosaur at Animal Kingdom in Disney World to be closed for 3 months

Dinosaur one of the few thrill rides at Animal Kingdom in Disney World will close for a three-month refurbishment starting July 25, according to the Walt Disney World website.

The ride which take guests on a back in time trip to save an Iguanodon from extinction before a meteor hits the Earth and causes the dinosaurs to boom extinct.

In order to support the incredibly large and sophisticated dinosaur Audio-Animatronics at Dinosaur, their bases were built clear through the structure down to their own foundations in the ground.

According to the website, the ride will be closed from July 25 to Oct. 16, 2016.
