Disney+ to Live Stream D23 Theme Park Showcase
Disney theme park fans unable to attend this year’s D23 convention in California will be able to watch the theme park showcase announcement live from home.
The Walt Disney Co. announced Monday that Disney+ will stream the “Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase” live on Saturday, Aug. 15, at 7 p.m. PDT (10 p.m. EDT) from the Honda Center in Anaheim,
Actor Neil Patrick Harris will host the presentation alongside Disney Experiences Chairman Thomas Mazloum and nine Walt Disney Imagineers. The showcase will feature updates, concept art, and behind-the-scenes looks at major construction projects across Disneyland, Walt Disney World, international parks, and the Disney Cruise Line.
Four of the featured Imagineers are directly tied to ongoing developments at Walt Disney World.
In addition to the parks showcase, Disney+ will live stream five other events from the three-day convention, including:
Friday, Aug. 14
- Beauty and the Beast 35th Anniversary Celebration at 11 a.m. PDT / 2 p.m. EDT.
Saturday, Aug. 15
- Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 Cast Panel at 3:30 p.m. PDT / 6:30 p.m. EDT
- Disney Rewind Encore Concert at 6:30 p.m. PDT / 9:30 p.m. EDT.
- Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcas at 7 p.m. PDT/ 10 p.m. EDT
Sunday, Aug. 16
- Disney Worldbuilders Panel with Leslie Iwerks at 10:15 a.m. PDT / 1:15 p.m. EDT
- 2026 Disney Legends Award Ceremony at 6 p.m. PDT / 9 p.m. EDT
