First Look at the 2026 runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend Medals

There’s a reason they say running is better together. Today, runDisney unveiled a first look at the highly anticipated finisher medals for the 2026 Springtime Surprise Weekend, and the designs are a vibrant tribute to the power of Disney’s most iconic friendships.

Taking place from April 16–20 at the Disney World Resort, this year’s event encourages runners to grab their besties and tackle every magical mile as a team.

The Medal Lineup: A Duo for Every Distance

From the Hundred Acre Wood to the city of Zootopia, this year’s hardware captures the spirit of camaraderie across four distinct events:

  • Springtime Surprise 5K | Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde: Kick off the weekend with a “hare”-raising 3.1-mile run. The finisher medal features the Zootopia duo on a badge-shaped design, perfect for those ready to “try everything” on the course.
  • Springtime Surprise 10K | Winnie the Pooh and Tigger: Bounce, pounce, or trounce your way through 6.2 miles. This “hunny-sweet” medal frames the pair around a classic honey pot, celebrating a friendship that has lasted generations.
  • Springtime Surprise 10-Miler | Joy and Sadness: Prepare for an emotional journey through the parks. Hosted by the stars of Inside Out, this circular, colorful medal celebrates the balance of every emotion felt while conquering ten miles.
  • Springtime Surprise Challenge | Aladdin and Genie: For those who complete all three races—a total of 19.3 miles—the ultimate wish is granted. The Challenge medal features Aladdin and the Genie, marking the fifth anniversary of the Springtime Surprise event.
