Find the hidden Olaf! The ultimate EPCOT Festival of the Holidays hunt

One of the most beloved activities during EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays is back for its fifth enchanting year. Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt turns the World Showcase into a joyful, frosty trek that guests of all ages can experience.

Our favorite, warm-hug-loving snowman, Olaf, has gone on a grand adventure. He’s been sledding all around the World Showcase, diligently collecting new and fascinating holiday traditions to share with Anna and Elsa. But oh no—he seems to have misplaced a few during his journey. It’s now up to you to save the traditions (and perhaps Olaf’s festive reputation) in this delightful search-and-match game.

This isn’t just a scavenger hunt. It’s also a wonderful festive educational journey. As you match the stickers, you’ll learn fascinating facts about customs from around the globe:

  • The Cozy Yule Log: Did you know many families place a log on the hearth to bring good luck and warmth during the winter?
  • Sweet Beginnings: Learn the story of the first candy canes, said to have been gifts from a choirmaster.
  • Guardians of the Tree: Discover why goats made of straw stand guard over Christmas trees in some countries.
  • A Timely Harvest: Discover how December is celebrated in certain areas with a lively olive festival, a time to give thanks for the harvest.

The best part? Every adventurer wins! Even if you don’t manage to find every single misplaced tradition, you can bring your completed or partially completed map to redemption locations like Disney Traders, Creations Shop, Gateway Gifts, or World Traveler to choose from one of the three plates, with either Olaf, Kristoff and Sven, or Anna and Elsa.

You can purchase the official map and stickers for $11.99 at select merchandise locations, including Creations Shop and Disney Traders.

We can’t give away the secrets of the World Showcase, but here’s a look at Olaf enjoying his holiday expedition! Remember, which country he’s in is still up to you to find!
