Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is a cherished holiday tradition at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. This dazzling, festive procession is primarily featured during the separately ticketed event, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, taking place on select nights in November and December.

The parade features:

  • Holiday-Dressed Characters: Beloved Disney characters, including Mickey, Minnie, and the Disney Princesses, appear in their finest holiday attire.
  • Marching Toy Soldiers: A fan-favorite unit features the iconic, towering Marching Toy Soldiers inspired by the 1961 film Babes in Toyland.
  • Scented Floats: One of the most magical touches—the parade features floats that emit sweet holiday scents, like gingerbread and peppermint!
  • The Grand Finale: The parade culminates with the appearance of Santa Claus himself, riding in his sleigh to wave “Merry Christmas” to everyone.

On the week leading up to Christmas Day, the parade is typically performed during regular Magic Kingdom park hours, allowing more guests to experience the holiday magic.
