Zootopia: Better Zoogether! to open Nov. 7 at Animal Kingdom
The animal kingdom is about to get a whole lot wilder (yes, that is a pun) as the new 4D show, Zootopia: Better Zoogether!, is set to open on Nov. 7 at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The highly anticipated show will debut in the Tree of Life Theater, transporting visitors deep into the bustling animal metropolis.
The show’s central theme is “Zoogether Day,” a city-wide celebration of community and diversity across Zootopia’s many habitats. Guests will experience the festivities through a live broadcast hosted by a charismatic new wolf character named Heidi Howler. The event features spectacular performances, including an ice-skating spectacle from the heart of Tundratown, synchronized swimming straight from Marsh Market, and a miniature drone show soaring over Little Rodentia. It all culminates in a musical finale by the city’s pop superstar, Gazelle.

The production is the result of a close collaboration between Walt Disney Imagineering and the creative team behind the Zootopia films. The original voice cast, Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman, are returning to lend their voices to their beloved characters Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde. Filmmakers Jared Bush and Byron Howard also worked directly on the project, with Bush writing the script and Howard directing the new animation, which was created by the talented artists at Disney Animation.
Zootopia: Better Zoogether! will also serve as a narrative bridge between the original film and the upcoming sequel, Zootopia 2, scheduled to premiere in theaters on Nov. 26. Beyond the main stage, guests will have the chance to meet Judy and Nick in person at a new character greeting location near the Tree of Life, where they will be dressed in new outfits inspired by the upcoming movie.
Exclusive sneak peeks for Cast Members, Annual Passholders, and Disney Vacation Club Members are planned for later in the fall.
