Disneyland Resort prepares for a dazzling 2025 holiday season

The Disneyland Resort is gearing up for a festive and enchanting holiday season, set to return Nov. 14, 2025, through Jan. 7, 2026. There will be a number of limited-time entertainment, delectable food and beverages, exclusive merchandise, and heartwarming experiences.

This year’s holiday festivities will also run concurrently with the ongoing Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration, promising even more special anniversary entertainment and experiences.

Disneyland Park Holidays

Disneyland Park will be transformed into a winter wonderland, brimming with joy and beloved holiday traditions. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and their pals will debut sparkling new holiday looks that subtly nod to the 70th Celebration. Through Dec. 24, Santa Claus himself will be making special appearances around the resort, offering photo opportunities and listening to holiday wishes.

Fan-favorite holiday experiences are set to return, including the joyous “A Christmas Fantasy Parade,” the breathtaking “Believe…in Holiday Magic” fireworks spectacular, and the iconic seasonal transformations of Haunted Mansion Holiday and “it’s a small world” Holiday. For those seeking an enhanced experience, reserved viewing for “A Christmas Fantasy Parade” is included with the Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort Guided Tour.

The iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle will once again shimmer with “Wintertime Enchantment,” featuring over 80,000 twinkling lights, sparkling “icicles,” and glistening snow-capped turrets. Adding to the magic, a delightful “snowfall” will occur along parts of Main Street, U.S.A., and other locations throughout the park.

Fun at Disney California Adventure Park

Over at Disney California Adventure Park, the holiday spirit will be in full throttle. Cars Land will feature spirited decor, with Mater’s Jingle Jamboree and Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl receiving their festive transformations.

The Disney Festival of Holidays will also return to Disney California Adventure Park, celebrating the diverse ways Southern California families honor this special time of year. This vibrant festival immerses guests in unique storytelling, authentic cultural music and dance performances, and whimsical Disney and Pixar-themed shows. Guests can look forward to both new menu items at the Festive Food Marketplaces, as well as the return of beloved favorites like the braised pork belly adobo. The Sip and Savor Pass, which includes six digital coupons redeemable for select food and nonalcoholic beverages from participating marketplaces, will also be available for purchase.

Disney ¡Viva Navidad! will transform Paradise Gardens into a lively cultural celebration inspired by Latin American traditions, featuring live music, daily crafts, specialty dishes, and character appearances. On select days, the Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party will parade through, featuring The Three Caballeros alongside Mexican folklórico dancers, mariachis, and Brazilian samba dancers.

Guests can also join Mirabel and her friends from Disney Animation’s “Encanto” in “Mirabel’s Gifts of the Season” on select days, enjoying stories and songs from the film. Additionally, on select days, Miguel from Pixar’s “Coco” will join Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland for “A Musical Christmas with Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland & Miguel,” celebrating the holiday spirit through heartfelt stories and timeless songs.

Downtown Disney District and Resort Hotels

The Downtown Disney District and Hotels of the Disneyland Resort will also be adorned with sparkling festive decorations, offering seasonal treats and live entertainment. Nightly “snow” is set to fall throughout the district, enhancing the holiday ambiance. Guests exploring Downtown Disney can also participate in Chip and Dale’s Ornament Trail, searching for hidden character-themed ornaments.

For dining, Storytellers Cafe at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will introduce two new festive character experiences: the dinnertime Mickey’s Christmas Carol Feast and the Daisy’s Holiday Pajama Party for breakfast and brunch, which now includes Daisy Duck and Donald Duck.

Holiday Shopping and Stays

This season will also see the release of multiple lines of new merchandise, including the Mickey Mouse Family Christmas Collection, perfect for souvenirs or holiday gifts. Specialty holiday food and beverages will feature returning favorites like the peppermint cold brew and new additions such as the Jerry’s Junk Truck Cone.

For those looking to extend their holiday fun, multi-day vacations or overnight stays at the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort are encouraged. Guests can currently take advantage of limited-time savings of up to 20% on select stays of three or more nights at Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and The Villas at Disneyland Hotel from Aug. 17 through Dec. 19, 2025, subject to availability and restrictions.
