Disney Jr. Let’s Play! returns to Disneyland in August 2025
Get ready for three days of non-stop fun as Disney Jr. Let’s Play! returns to Disneyland Resort from Aug. 8 to Aug. 10. This special event is designed for families with little ones, packed with crafting, singing, and playtime alongside beloved Disney Jr. characters
The celebration kicks off Aug. 8 at California Adventure includes the high-energy “Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Block Party” featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and other fan-favorite characters along the parade route and a special “Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Live” stage show at the Hollywood Backlot stage.
Kids can also discover how the magic of food saves the day by bringing everyone together with “Confection Purrfection with the SuperKitties” cupcake decorating and enjoy “Learn to Draw Disney Jr. Characters” at Animation Academy for interactive fun.
Preschoolers and their families can continue the party with activities that inspire the joy of play and imagination. Multiple photo opportunities curated for camera-ready moments include a themed wall in Hollywood Land highlighting series such as “Bluey,” “Spidey and his Amazing Friends,” “Iron Man and his Awesome Friends,” “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+” and “SuperKitties.”
You’ll also be able to enjoy special character greetings with favorite Disney Jr. characters.
The fun moves over to Downtown Disney District from Aug. 9 through Aug. 10, with special free offerings including:

- Bubble Experience – Bubble over with fun as bubbles overrun Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage and lawn, synchronized with DJ music and themed to some favorite Disney Jr. and Disney classic titles.
- Arts & Crafts Activities – Themed to Disney Jr. Let’sPlay!, enjoy hands-on crafting fun for all ages!
- Specialty Photo Opportunity – Smile for the camera! Capture your memories with Disney Jr. Let’s Play!-themed backdrops.
