runDisney 2025-2026 race events calendar revealed

Runners can enjoy eight races at Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Virtually for the 2025-2026 race season. runDisney has released its updated 2025-2026 race events calendar, with the understanding that the 2026 races at Disneyland are still to be announced.

Walt Disney World races

This is the only place to run a full Marathon with runDisney. For over 30 years, they’ve hosted a variety of running events, all of which traverse at least one Disney theme park. These events encompass distances from 5K races to unique runDisney challenges that test your endurance by combining multiple races. Most weekends offer ancillary events like theme park yoga or after-hours celebrations.

Registration begins in February for the Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend in October 2025 and on March 4, for the 2026 Walt Disney World Marathon.

Disneyland Resort

All races run through both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure parks. Events range from 5K to Half Marathon distances, plus runDisney-only challenges that combine races and put your endurance to the test Kids Races are available to kids 0-9, plus other ancillary events like theme park yoga, during select weekends. At this point the 2026 races have not yet been announced.

Virtual Races

Virtual events are an excellent opportunity to participate at home or wherever you run. These races are a great opportunity to grab friends and family and curate your own race experience. Lower-mileage races make virtual events an excellent opportunity to get started on your runDisney journey or reward yourself for training miles you’re already running
