Lightning Lane Premier Pass expanding to all at Disney World

Now everyone will be able to feel like a VIP and skip the Standby Lines at Walt Disney World and enter the Lightning Lane entrance whenever they want – for a steep price – with the Lightning Lane Premier Pass.

Starting tomorrow, Jan. 21, 2025, “Walt Disney World Resort will expand the Lightning Lane Premier Pass pilot to all Guests. Guests of Disney Resort hotels and other select hotels will be eligible to purchase up to 7 days before the first day of their Resort stay—and other Guests will be eligible to purchase up to 3 days in advance of their park visit.”

Guests who purchase a Premier Pass will be able to skip the regular queues and enter the Lightning Lane entrance. Unlike the standard Lightning Lane options, there’s no need to select a return time or worry about attraction availability. With a Premier Pass, guests can simply walk up to the Lightning Lane entrance and proceed directly to the attraction.

The passes are on top of the entry ticket and can only be purchased for one park a day. You can only skip the line once per ride, that have Lightning Lanes.

The costs of the Premier Pass is based on the time of the year. So the Christmas holidays the prices surged. The price for opening day Jan. 21, 2025 are as follows:

Magic Kingdom: $379 per guest

EPCOT: $229 per guest

Hollywood Studios: $329 per guest

Animal Kingdom: $129 per guest
