‘Disney Lakeshore Lodge,’ resort opening in 2027 at Disney World
Disney has announced new name for a canceled resort and an opening date. Disney Lakeshore Lodge is projected to open in 2027 and will be located alongside the shores of Bay lake at Disney World.
The proposed Disney Lakeshore Lodge will be located within the same footprint of the previously announced Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge resort between the Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.
“The resort will be inspired by the majesty of nature and its enduring influence on Disney artists,” the Disney Vacation Club announced.
No further information is available on the new resort.
Reflections: A Disney Lakeside Lodge was scheduled to open in 2022 before the COVID pandemic. The subsequent closing of the parks caused this, among other projects around Disney World, to be shelved. That resort was to have 900 hotel rooms and proposed Disney Vacation Club villas. Again, no additional information has been mentioned about Disney Lakeshore Lodge.
