Meet Santa Claus at Disney’s Animal Kingdom this year

After a few years of waving from the waterways, Santa Claus is making a special appearance at Disney’s Animal Kingdom this holiday season. Guests can meet him at the 75th Annual Dino Institute Holiday Party on the patio at Restaurantosaurus.

Join Santa and the Dino Institute students and faculty for a festive celebration from Nov. 12 to Dec. 24. This is a perfect opportunity for families to create lasting memories with a visit from the jolly old man himself. So come and see Santa at Animal Kingdom.

In addition, here’s what else is happening at Disney’s Animal Kingdom during the holidays:

• The Merry Menagerie of winter animals return to Discovery Island, as you head over to the Tree of Life. These life-size, artisan-sculpted reindeer, fox, polar bear, and penguin puppets will interact with you in a playful manner. This a lot of fun and the puppeteers are amazing. 
• Tree of Life Awakenings Holiday Edition shines on the Tree of Life each night with heartwarming winter tales and musical score. 
• Mickey and Minnie will have their holiday outfits on to welcome guests.
