New villains show coming to Hollywood Studios replacing Lightning McQueen

“Behold, a wicked twist awaits! The speedsters of Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy shall soon make way for a spectacle of villainy. A new live production, starring your favorite Disney evildoers, will rise from the ashes of the racing track.“
Disney has announced that a new production will be coming to Hollywood Studios in summer 2025 with Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook, and Maleficent, among other infamous evildoers breaking through the Magic Mirror.
The Sunset Showcase will be transformed from Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy into the mysterious Magic Mirror realm. Lightning McQueen’s will close Oct. 7.
The Disney Villains’ appearance in this new show comes in addition to the future Villains-themed land announced for Magic Kingdom.
