Disney World’s Jungle Cruise has reopening date

Disney World has announced when The Jungle Cruise at Magic Kingdom will reopen after a lengthy refurbishment that will start at the end of August.

The last day of the Jungle Cruise’s operation will be August 25. The ride will be closed starting Monday, August 26. According to the Walt Disney World attraction hours, Jungle Cruise will reopen on Oct. 18.

This iconic attraction will most likely reopen as the holiday Jingle Cruise. The Jingle Cruise, a beloved seasonal transformation of the classic Jungle Cruise attraction at Magic Kingdom, always provides a delightful blend of adventure, humor, and holiday cheer.

Twinkling lights, colorful tinsel, and seasonal garlands have been meticulously draped around the queue area and loading dock, creating a festive tableau that envelops eager guests in a tropical holiday paradise. The boat names are altered to bring some holiday name alliterations, such as “Icicle Irma,” “Candy Cane Connie” and “Brrr Bertha.”

But what truly sets the Jingle Cruise apart is its team of witty and ever-enthusiastic skippers. These seasoned storytellers pilot each expedition boat and regale passengers with a side-splitting narrative infused with holiday-themed jokes and puns. We learn about the Bah-Humbugs that populate the jungle, Trader Sam’s has become Trader Samta’s.
