Disney World extended evening theme park hours for Fall 2024

The Halloween season has come to Disney World and that means a change in the extended evening theme park hours and theme parks participating for Fall 2024. Normally, the Magic Kingdom has extended evening theme park hours on select nights for certain select resort guests, but due to the Halloween Party other parks will be participating.

Normally the to parks participating are Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. In September Hollywood Studios will be joining the rotation and in October Animal Kingdom will also participate. Below are the specifics, including dates and what attractions will be open.

Here’s what you need to know to participate.

HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE IN DISNEY WORLD EXTENDED EVENING THEME PARK HOURS?

First, you need to be staying at a participating hotel (see below). Second, you will need valid admission and a theme park reservation for the same park on the same day to experience extended evening hours, or if you have a ticket or annual pass with the Park Hopper option and first enter the park where they made their reservation. So, if you have a one-day ticket you need to have a park reservation for the specific park. If you have a Park Hopper you need to make sure you first head to the park you made your initial park reservation first.

Guests will have additional opportunities to join a virtual queue for the following:

• At 6 p.m. on nights with extended evening theme park hours at Magic Kingdom park, these Guests can request to join the virtual queue for TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise. At 6 p.m. on nights with extended evening theme park hours at EPCOT, these Guests can request to join the virtual queue for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
