Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is back to cast its enchanting spell on Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. Our comprehensive guide to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will help you navigate the magic.

This limited-time event promises a night filled with spooky fun, beloved characters, and unforgettable memories. Whether you’re a seasoned Disney pro or a first-time visitor, careful planning is essential to maximize your experience.

Mickey’s Not-Scary Halloween Party Tickets

This separately ticked event takes place on select nights between Aug. 9 and Oct. 31, 2024, from 7 p.m. to midnight. The prices are $119 to $199 per ticket, plus tax (prices vary by event date). Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can save $10 per ticket to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party—valid only for event nights in August and September. There are a number of nights already sold out.  Check calendar for available dates.

What’s New This Year

This year’s event will have a few changes, including:

New Earlier Start Times for “Boo-To-You” – While everyone loves the spooky splendor of “Mickey’s Boo-To-You,” the late start can be daunting for guests who prefer to turn in early. This year, the fun begins at 8:15 p.m., an hour earlier than prior years.

Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in New Costumes – Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will greet guests during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in their brand-new neon spiderweb attire.

Villains character sightings – Villains continue to be a crowd pleaser, and guests can look forward to seeing some of their favorite bad guys (and girls) from the moment the party begins and throughout the evening.

DescenDANCE Party – A high-energy rave inspired by the Disney Original Movie, “Descendants: The Rise of Red” premiering on Disney+ on July 12, guests can dance along to their favorite hits, including other songs from the “Descendants” films, at the Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland.

Speaking of Bruno – For the first time during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary, Bruno Madrigal from the Disney Animation Studios film “Encanto” will meet guests alongside Mirabel at the family Casita in Fairytale Garden.

Allergy Friendly Trick or Treat Experiences

If you have a food allergy, Disney has a special trick-or-treat experience. When you enter Magic Kingdom, see a Cast ember to pick up a special teal-covered treat bag. When you trick-or-treat with your teal bag you’ll receive a token at each treat station. Later you can redeem your tokens at the following locations:

Chamber of Commerce – 7 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Special Entertainment Guide at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade

Witness a masquerade of Characters—including a few faces from the Haunted Mansion. Catch a glimpse of dastardly villains, ghastly ghouls and other iconic Characters as they float by during this spellbinding parade.

Highlights include:

  • A frenzy of favorite Disney friends donning Halloween costumes—including Minnie Mouse, Clarabelle Cow and Daisy Duck dressed as the sinister Sanderson Sisters—as they prepare to go trick-or-treating down Main Street, U.S.A.
  • Hitchhiking Ghosts and the spectral Bride, gliding among the waltzing spirits—representing the Haunted Mansion from Liberty Square.
  • A wicked assortment of Disney villains reign over a Fantasyland-inspired grand finale.

Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular

Watch the skies come alive with a Halloween spectacular featuring lasers, fireworks and more. Gather ‘round as your host­—Jack Skellington from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas—delights with a not so scary-tale that proves anything can happen at Halloween!

During the frightfully fun fireworks display, Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy are spirited away to a mysterious haunted house where they encounter dancing skeletons, waltzing ghosts and a sinister gathering of Disney villains!

Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular

Join a wickedly fun celebration at the Cinderella Castle stage hosted by the Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus. Enlisting the help of the Disney villains, the three sisters mix sinister shadows, terrifying nightmares and use the nefarious powers of their frightening colleagues to conjure the ultimate Hocus Pocus party potion­—and cast a spell on everyone in Magic Kingdom.
