Celebración Encanto run at EPCOT is extended through October
The limited time ¡Celebración Encanto! sing-along show in EPCOT that was supposed to end on Sept. 6 has now been extended at least through Oct. 15 as part Disney World’s Hispanic & Latin American Heritage Month celebration from Sept. 15 through Oct. 15.
The show, taking place on the newly complete CommuniCore Plaza Stage, celebrates the Madrigal family from “Encanto.” Featuring beloved characters and songs from the film along with fun trivia to test your knowledge on all things “Encanto,” the show runs several times a day at EPCOT.
Think of Celebración Encanto as a combination of the Disney Junior Play and Dance! and For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration, both which can be seen at Hollywood Studios. Here’s our full review.
The show is about 15 minutes long and is a great way to start the day or a great respite in the middle of the day.
Two hosts guide the audience through the Encanto songbook with lyrics onscreen sprinkled with “EncanTrivia” where guests are asked to shout out answers related to the film or Colombia.
Those who want to dance are encouraged to head to the stage to participate in “We Don’t Talk About Bruno.” During “Surface Pressure,” kids can stand on a little stage to show off their power poses.
At the end of the show, Mirabel and Bruno come out to interact and dance with the audience.
