A t-shirt for pro Disney shoppers
People rope drop at Disney parks for all sorts of reasons. Most people, no matter what park they’re visiting, are trying to beat the long lines for their favorite rides. Others might be trying to beat the rush at Starbucks to get their morning jolt (*cough* not me *cough*).
At Disneyland, there are a couple of unique rope dropportunities: the first person in line to ride the Storybook Land Canal Boats gets to sign the ride’s guest book, and the first to buy a pickle at a particular snack cart on Main Street USA gets a dated “first pickle of the day” button.
And then there are those of us who visit the gift shops on the way into the parks, instead of on the way out. We want to make sure we don’t miss out on the latest Mickey pumpkin or TikTok famous sweatshirt. In other words, we rope drop … to shop.
