Disney World extended evening theme park hours for July, August

Disney World has extended evening theme park hours on select nights for certain select resort guests.

Those staying at certain participating hotels will receive an additional two hours at EPCOT and Magic Kingdom on certain Mondays and Wednesdays. 

Here’s what you need to know to participate.

HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE IN DISNEY WORLD EXTENDED EVENING THEME PARK HOURS?

First, you need to be staying at a participating hotel (see below). Second, you will need valid admission and a theme park reservation for the same park on the same day to experience extended evening hours, or if you have a ticket or annual pass with the Park Hopper option and first enter the park where they made their reservation. So, if you have a one-day ticket you need to have a park reservation for the specific park. If you have a Park Hopper you need to make sure you first head to the park you made your initial park reservation first.

Guests will have additional opportunities to join a virtual queue for the following:

• At 6 p.m. on nights with extended evening theme park hours at Magic Kingdom park, these Guests can request to join the virtual queue for TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise.At 6 p.m. on nights with extended evening theme park hours at EPCOT, these Guests can request to join the virtual queue for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
