What’s open, closed, happening at Disney World in July 2024

The Florida sunshine and heat are in full swing at Disney World this July 2024. From iconic favorites returning from refurbishment to new foods being introduced and holiday events taking place, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

In addition to the various rides and attractions reopening and closing at Disney World, tickets are also going on sale for Christmas holiday parties and a major change all be coming to the Lightning Lanes system.

Here’s a complete list of everything open, closed and what’s coming to Disney World in July 2024.

Disney World

Lightning Lane Multi-Pass: Coming July 24 – The Lightning Lane Multi-Pass stems replaces the Disney Genie+ service and the Lightning Lane Single Pass replaces individual “à la carte” Lightning Lane entry for select rides. The change, which goes into effect on July 24, has been a long time coming. It’s good for Disney veterans, who know what attractions they want to ride and would rather set up their Lightning Lanes in advance. And it’s good for Disney newbies, who can lean on friends or travel agents to help set up their options ahead of time, saving them the stress of learning on the fly. The bad thing, it is still an added expense. Here are the complete details.
