Disney World delays reopening of All-Star Sports Resort

Disney is delaying the reopening of Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort and will work on renovating pieces of the property, Walt Disney World announced today.

The resort was scheduled to reopen on Dec 9, 2021. Disney said it will delay the reopening and work on refreshing the sports theme area. It will announce a new reopening date at a later time.

Those who have made reservations to stay at the resort will receive communication via e-mail on how to modify their stay at no additional charge.

Disney’s All-Star Movies and All-Star Music resorts are open.

Disney is still planning on reopening Disney’s Port Orleans Resort Riverside on Oct. 14 and Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter on Oct. 28.
