Pater Pan’s Flight at Disney World closing for refurbishment in July
One of the most beloved rides at Disney World – Peter Pan’s Flight – will be closed for refurbishment for six weeks
According to Disney World’s website, Peter Pan’s Flight will be closed starting on July 8 and reopening on Aug. 21.
The reason for the refurbishment has not yet been announced and there are no specific details available.
The ride first opened on Oct. 3, 1971, two days after the Magic Kingdom opened. After you board your pirate galleon, you follow Peter Pan after waving goodbye to Nana and join the Darling children on a gentle cruise over London, where Big Ben and Tower Bridge light up the night sky.
