Road closures this weekend due to 2019 Princess Half Marathon

There will be some road closures around Walt Disney World this weekend as the 10K and Half Marathon races take place during the 2019 Princess Half Marathon Weekend.

Most of the closings should not impact those heading to the theme parks, but if you like to get a very early start you might find yourself a little delayed.

Here’s a look at the closures:

Saturday, Feb. 23 (10K Race)

• Eastbound Epcot Center Drive (World Drive to Buena Vista Drive) and Epcot Auto Plaza (ramp from southbound World Drive) will close to all traffic at 4 a.m. until approximately 7:30 a.m.
• Westbound Epcot Center Drive (Buena Vista Drive to World Drive) and Westbound Overpass Road (Bonnet Creek to Backstage Lane) will close to all traffic at 5 a.m. until approximately 7:30 a.m.

Sunday, Feb. 24 (Half-Marathon Race)

• Eastbound and westbound Epcot Center Drive (World Drive to Buena Vista Drive) and Epcot Auto Plaza (ramp from southbound World Drive) will close to all traffic at 11 p.m. Saturday until approximately 11 a.m. Sunday.
• Westbound Overpass Road (Bonnet Creek to Backstage Lane) will close to all traffic at 11 p.m. Saturday until approximately 6 a.m. Sunday.
• Southbound World Drive (Seven Seas to Epcot Center Drive) will close to all traffic at 4:30 a.m. until approximately 10 a.m.
• Northbound World Drive (Buena Vista Drive to Magic Kingdom Auto Plaza) will close to all traffic at 5 a.m. until approximately 7:30 a.m.
• World Drive North and Southbound from Seven Seas Drive to Disney’s Contemporary Resort will be closed from approximately 5 to 8:30 a.m
