¡Celebración Encanto! is a fun sing-along, dance party

Those visiting EPCOT this summer, through Sept. 6, will have an opportunity to sing and dance in an Encanto celebration at the newly completed CommuniCore Plaza Stage

This summer, guests can dance and sing along to the música of the Disney Animation Studios film “Encanto.” “¡Celebración Encanto!” is a limited-time show that celebrates culture, magic and family, or as the Family Madrigal would say, “cultura, magia y familia.” This is the first show to debut on the newly completed CommuniCore Plaza Stage.

Think of this celebration, which is performed five times a day, as a combination of the Disney Junior Play and Dance! and For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration, both which can be seen at Hollywood Studios.

Two hosts guide the audience through the Encanto songbook with lyrics onscreen sprinkled with “EncanTrivia” where guests are asked to shout out answers related to the film or Colombia.

At the end of the show, Mirabel and Bruno come out to interact and dance with the audience.

When going to the show, you will first need to stand or sit in the grassy areas in front of the stage, allowing space for dancers to come out during the beginning of the show. During the summer, this will mean standing in the sun and trying to stay cool. There are some shady spots. The best places to stand are obviously the front and at the edge of the grassy areas near the concrete.

About a third into the show, the audience can move up and fill in the area in front of the stage between the grassy areas so you can then get closer to the stage.

At this time, those who want to dance are encouraged to head to the stage to participate in “We Don’t Talk About Bruno.” During “Surface Pressure,” kids can stand on a little stage to show off their power poses.

The show is about 15 minutes long and is a great way to start the day or a great respite in the middle of the day.
