10 new summer PhotoPass opportunities announced for Disney World
Disney PhotoPass Service never stops offering fresh moments to capture, and this summer is packed with 10 brand-new photo ops you won’t want to miss at Walt Disney World.
Animal Kingdom
1. The photographer across from Feathered Friends in Flight can capture a video taken from a unique angle up in the trees.
2. Right next to the riverbend on the pathway between Africa and Asia, say “cheese,” and Pocahontas’ snack-loving friend Meeko might appear in your photo. It sometimes takes a minute for Flit to warm up to strangers, but give it time, and he’ll probably appear in your photo too.
Hollywood Studios
3. Join forces with Disney PhotoPass Service to capture scans showing your lightsaber igniting in Batuu. Near Oga’s Cantina during daylight hours Image Specialist’s capture droid has been modified to process scans in a way that will better transmit the glow of lightsabers when the planet’s suns are high in the sky.
4. When you’re ready to relax between missions, Imaging Scanners near the Millennium Falcon can join you in playing Sabacc, the galaxy’s most popular card game.
EPCOT
5. A new Moana magic shot. This can be captured at Journey of Water.
6. At the entrance of The Seas with Nemo & Friends you’ll find that the talented escape artist Hank has broken loose yet again and might appear alongside you.
7. As part of V.I.PASSHOLDER Days, there are two photo ops near Dreamers Point designed specifically for Annual Passholders now through June 26 – a donut prop, sprinkled with a Stitch Magic Shot.
Magic Kingdom
8. Outside of TRON Lightcycle / Run, prepare for your race through the Grid with an Identity Disc that’s specially energized with a Magic Shot.
9. Opening June 28, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will have a new attraction photo.
Disney Springs
10. The Disney PhotoPass Studio at Disney Springs has a new beachy backdrop, props and Magic Shots. The studio is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and no reservations are required.
