‘Inside Out’ wins Best Animated Feature Oscar

“Inside Out” wins the Academy Award for the Best Animated Feature.


The Pixar movie follows Riley, who is uprooted from her Midwest life and moved to San Francisco, her emotions – Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness – conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house, and school.

This makes the eighth Pixar-Disney film to have won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film. It joins “Finding Nemo,” “The Incredibles,” “Ratatouille,” “WALL-E,” “Up,” “Toy Story 3,” and “Brave.”

“Up” and “Toy Story 3” were also nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture.
