Dates, details announced for 2024 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival
The 2024 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is set to usher in a notable shift, reverting to its pre-pandemic duration of 76 days. Launching on Aug. 29 and running through Nov. 23, this adjustment marks a departure from the extended formats witnessed in recent years, which spanned 114 and 129 days in 2023 and 2022, respectively.
Amidst this temporal recalibration, speculations swirl regarding potential alterations to festival traditions, with keen eyes on the potential resurgence of celebratory events and culinary classes. Disney’s recent announcement underscores the anticipation, teasing that CommuniCore Hall will open on June 10 in the heart of World Celebration, “And, once the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival begins, the new space will add exciting fresh elements to the festival.”

Highlighting the festival’s culinary allure, perennial favorites return to the forefront with the revival of global marketplaces, offering a gastronomic odyssey through diverse culinary landscapes. Delicacies such as Belgian Waffles with Berry Compote and Whipped Cream, Warm Chocolate Ganache from the Belgium Global Marketplace, and Apple Strudel with Vanilla Sauce beckon discerning palates, alongside the tantalizing Passionfruit Cheesecake with Toasted Macadamia Nuts at the Hawai’i Marketplace.
Adding an interactive dimension, Emile’s Fromage Montage reprises its role, inviting guests on a gastronomic journey through a curated selection of artisanal cheeses, each dish a testament to inventive culinary craftsmanship. Patrons are encouraged to embark on this culinary escapade, collecting stamps in their Festival Passport upon sampling five delectable cheese offerings. Upon completion, a specialty item awaits, promising a gratifying denouement to this epicurean quest.
