Tickets for Star Wars Celebration 2025 in Japan go on sale in May

Star Wars fans, mark your calendars! Tickets for the highly anticipated Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025 event will be available for purchase starting Thursday, May 2, at 7 p.m. EST (U.S. Time) and Friday, May 3, at 8 a.m. JST (Japan Time).

The event, set to take place at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, from April 18–20, 2025, will mark the first Star Wars Celebration held in the country since 2008.

Star Wars Celebration Japan promises to be an unforgettable experience for fans of all ages, drawing enthusiasts from around the globe to come together and celebrate the enduring cultural phenomenon that is Star Wars.

Accompanying the announcement, the key art for Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025 was unveiled on StarWars.com. Inspired by the traditional Japanese ink painting style known as sumi-e, the artwork features the imposing figure of Darth Vader set against a backdrop of breathtaking cherry blossoms and sweeping ink strokes.

Iconic Star Wars spacecraft, including X-Wings, TIE Fighters, and Imperial AT-ATs, are depicted in the foreground, while the Rising Sun, with Mount Fuji nestled within, completes the visually stunning composition.
