Themes announced for 2024 runDisney Virtual Series

Get ready to lace up your sneakers and embark on a delicious journey with the announcement of this year’s 2024 runDisney Virtual Series: A Snacktacular Celebration themes.

For fans of all things runDisney, this summer brings an extraordinary treat as our beloved virtual event series returns. Inspired by the mouthwatering snacks that define the Disney experience, this series offers three distinct 5K races and a thrilling challenge, inviting participants to indulge in the magic from anywhere they desire.

Registration for the 2024 runDisney Virtual Series opens March 26, 2024.

Here are the individual theme events

Mickey Mouse Waffle 5K

Nothing gets us out of bed quicker than this sweet and fluffy treat! Starting the runDisney Virtual Series with a ‘waffle’ lot of fun is the Mickey Mouse Waffle 5K, inspired by the Mickey Mouse waffle-shaped breakfast favorite.

Mickey Mouse Bar 5K

Keep your cool and create your own course as you set off on a virtual 3.1-mile journey of chocolatey and vanilla goodness during the Mickey Mouse Bar 5K, inspired by the classic Mickey Mouse shaped ice cream bar.

Minnie Mouse Candy Apple 5K

Rounding your virtual miles out is the Minnie Mouse Candy Apple 5K, inspired by the delectable and delightful Minnie Mouse Candy Apple, with a virtual 3.1-mile course that celebrates this cute, crunchy and cheerful fan-favorite. 

Pineapple Whip Soft Serve Challenge

Indulge your craving for more miles with our tantalizing Pineapple Whip Soft Serve Challenge! By completing all three virtual 5K races, you’ll clock in 9.3 miles of snacktastic fun and earn yourself an extra-special finisher medal. But that’s not all! For the first time ever, participants will also receive a coveted challenge pin replica and a delightful runDisney Mickey Ear Snack Bowl.
