Drone show coming to Disney Springs this summer
The skies above Disney Springs will light up this summer as a drone show “Disney Dreams That Soar” will fly above the West Side of the complex nightly from May 24 through Sept. 2.
According to Disney, “the Disney stories will be celebrated with state-of-the-art drones choreographed to create designs in the sky and paired with a ‘soaring’ musical score and memorable movie quotes.
The event will most likely take place either over the water the parking lot area on the West Side of Disney Springs. This isn’t the first time Disney has launched a drone show at Disney Springs.
During the 2016 holiday season, drones were used for “Starbright Holidays – An Intel Collaboration,” a 5-minute show with the drones synchronized to a specially orchestrated arrangement of classic holiday music.
That show featured 300 drones with built-in LED lights that could create over 4 billion color combinations in the sky. At the time it was the largest drone show ever to take place in the U.S.
