Chuuby popcorn bucket coming to Disneyland on March 19

Disney announced that this adorable Chuuby popcorn pocket is coming to Disneyland starting March 19 and will be available at the popcorn car in Mickey’s Toontown.

Chubby, pronounced “chew-bee,” is the orange bird who is seen at the end of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway attraction over the barn and entertains the guests as they wait to disembark the train.

Chuuby was originally intended to be named, “Chubby,” Disney imagineer Kevin Rafferty when the characters was introduced to the public, but there was a typo during one of the development meetings and the name Chuuby stuck.

Oh, the three baby birds hatched from the eggs are named the “Chuubettes.”
