Road closures this weekend due to 2024 Princess Half Marathon

There will be some road closures around Walt Disney World this weekend as the 10K and Half Marathon takes place during the 2024 Princess Half Marathon Weekend.

Most of the closings should not impact those heading to the theme parks, but if you like to get a very early start you might find yourself a little delayed. World Drive, the main thoroughfare around the resort, should be back open on Saturday, Feb. 24, by 8 a.m. On Sunday, Feb. 25, the day of the half marathon, all roads should be open by 10 a.m.

The race weekend, which focuses on women’s empowerment, consists of a 5K, Saturday’s 10K, and then the half marathon on Sunday. There’s also the Disney Fairy Tale Challenge (10K and half-marathon).
