Photos, video: Patrick Mahomes visits Disneyland after Super Bowl win
Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes dashed over to Disneyland Resort for a fun-filled day full of celebrations less than 24 hours after leading the Kansas City Chiefs to their historic overtime win in Super Bowl LVIII.
For the second year in a row, Mahomes exclaimed the famous words, “I’m going to Disneyland!” right after his dazzling Super Bowl performance. This is the third time Mahomes has been named Super Bowl MVP and the third time he has been featured in the famous commercial.
Mahomes led the Kansas City Chiefs to a 25-22 overtime win over the San Francisco 49ers in the biggest game of the year. Mahomes threw the game-winning touchdown pass to Mecole Hardman with three seconds left in overtime. His 333 passing yards and two passing touchdowns catapulted his team to the win.
This was the Chiefs’ second consecutive Super Bowl win; Patrick Mahomes and his family visited Disneyland last year right after their 2023 Super Bowl victory. In 2020, Mahomes visited Walt Disney World.
Mahomes and his wife Brittany, daughter Sterling Skye and son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III headed to Mickey’s Toontown to explore the whimsical neighborhood of Mickey Mouse and his friends. Mahomes then climbed aboard a float and joined Mickey Mouse in a celebratory cavalcade that went down the parade route from “it’s a small world” all the way down Main Street, U.S.A.
Finally, a visit to Disneyland Resort is not complete without a photo with Mickey Mouse, so Mahomes posed for a picturesque photo in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.
