Walt Disney Presents closing for refurbishment in February

The Walt Disney Presents exhibit at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be closing for a couple of weeks in February, according to the Walt Disney website.

The exhibit will be closed Feb. 12 through March 1, reopening to guests again on March 2. No specific information on what work will take place has been announced.

The current exhibit at the location commemorates the 100th anniversary of Walt Disney’s birth, the gallery showcases his life story from small-town America to Hollywood.

At the end of the gallery tour, there is a 15-minute documentary “Walt Disney: One Man’s Dream” that showcases the life and times of Disney. It features rare audio recordings, historical footage and rarely seen home movies, this film traces the dramatic tale of how Walt turned his dreams into reality.

Sneak peeks of upcoming Disney or Pixar films may be offered in place of Walt Disney: One Man’s Dream throughout the year.
