New Madly Mischievous collection celebrates Disney’s greatest troublemakers
We stumbled across a fun new collection that debuted at the Epcot Festival of the Arts this weekend.
The new merchandise, a mix of sculpted collectibles and home accessories, features some of Disney’s greatest troublemakers, including Chip and Dale, Stitch, Cheshire Cat, and Pain and Panic.
The collection is designed by Lewis Whitman, a senior character art manager for Disney. The designs bring some of Disney’s quirkiest character to life with a dash of paint splatter and graffiti. They should probably come with a warning: Kids, do not try this at home with your paint set.
In the collection, Chip and Dale are reimagined as a pair of wacky garden gnomes and, separately, are cavorting on paint-splattered bookends. Not to be outdone, space invader Stitch is trapped in a color-changing, light-up bell jar.
There’s more to the collection—including a white bust of Hercules that’s been tagged by Pain and Panic—but so far only these four items are available online.
