Empowering princess t-shirts for girls from Disney

Disney is tapping into the most positive and empowering aspects of its princesses for a new line of t-shirts for girls.

Here, Cinderella isn’t pining for a prince, she is “brave, confident, courageous,” and Rapunzel isn’t trapped in her tower, she is “adventure bound.”

Besides the messages of strength, there’s something else moms might appreciate: The t-shirts have a slightly longer silhouette than other t-shirts, falling to the bottom of the hips. But they are slim-fitting, so if you’re looking for a looser fit, Disney suggests going one or two sizes larger than you’d normally order.

The t-shirts cost $18.95 each and come in youth sizes extra small to large.
