Merry Menagerie returns to Animal Kingdom for the 2023 holidays
The holiday season has kicked off at Walt Disney World and that means the Merry Menagerie puppets are again assembling at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
On Discovery Island, as you head over to the Tree of Life you will see the Merry Menagerie of winter animals These life-size, artisan-sculpted reindeer, fox, polar bear, and penguin puppets will interact with you in a playful manner. This a lot of fun and the puppeteers are amazing.
The herd of puppet animals first appeared at Animal Kingdom in 2019 and have been popular. Have your phones ready for some great photos and videos as you interact with animals. Make sure to say hi to Flurry, the reindeer.
Also during the holiday season you will find decorations as well as:
- Tree of Life Awakenings Holiday Edition – Watch in awe as the park’s magnificent icon shimmers and sparkles each evening, accompanied by a heartwarming musical score. Experience begins at dusk and is subject to change.
- Meet Favorite Disney Pals at Adventurer’s Outpost – Pose for a photo with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse all decked out in their holiday attire.
- Seasonal Décor – Discover festive trimmings and touches around the park.
