Disney100: The Exhibition going to Kansas City, tickets are now on sale
The Disney100: The Exhibition is coming to Kansas City, Missouri on May 24, 2024 and tickets for the exhibit are now on sale.
The archives exhibit will debut at Union Station’s Bank of America Gallery. This extraordinary exhibition, celebrating a century of The Walt Disney Company’s legacy, will feature over 250 artifacts, works of art, costumes, props, and memorabilia from Disney’s extensive history. Kansas City holds special significance as one of the first three cities chosen to host the North American tour.
Walt Disney’s formative years in Kansas City and the pivotal role this city played in his animation career make it an ideal location for Disney100: The Exhibition. The exhibition will offer a unique opportunity for visitors to explore Disney’s rich history, from its earliest animation classics like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to recent additions from the Disney family, including Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel.
The exhibition’s galleries will showcase rare and rarely seen works of art, such as visual development art for Sleeping Beauty and iconic props from live-action films like Alice in Wonderland. Exclusive merchandise, photo opportunities, and backdrops will be available at the exhibition’s gift shop.
