New images added to Disney Springs Art Walk

Katerina Santos and Juan Travieso, the artistic duo known as TRATOS, have infused the Disney Springs Art Walk: A Canvas of Expression with a burst of life and family through their latest mural, “El Nido” (The Nest in Spanish).

In this colorful and intricate artwork, the couple introduces their one-year-old son, Luka, into their creative world for the first time, creating a heartwarming tribute to their Cuban heritage. This artistic endeavor also coincides with the celebration of Hispanic & Latin American Heritage Month.

The Disney Springs Art Walk is renowned for showcasing the work of both local artists and talents from around the world, all of whom imbue their murals with vibrant colors, deep emotions, and the rich spirit of their cultures. On Oct. 9, TRATOS completed “El Nido,” adding it to the kaleidoscopically diverse collection found at Town Center in Disney Springs.

Hailing from Miami, this Cuban couple found inspiration for their mural when asked about the magic in their lives. The name “TRATOS” is a fusion of their last names and holds a significant meaning as it translates to “deal” or “bond” in Spanish. It symbolizes their promise to one another to craft a reality they wish to see through their artistry.
