New Frozen Holiday Surprise coming to Magic Kingdom on Nov. 7

There’s a new Frozen holiday show coming to Magic Kingdom this holiday season with the “Frozen Holiday Surprise.”

Sarting Nov. 7, the “Frozen Holiday Surprise” kicks off with Olaf and more than 100 of his Snowgie siblings decorate Cinderella Castle with festive touches.

Appearing live on stage in new holiday looks, Anna, Elsa, Olaf and Kristoff each bring something special to the gathering. Festivities culminate as Elsa adds sparkling finishing touches, transforming Cinderella Castle into a shimmering crystallized palace – a look that will remain throughout the evening.

These past few years we have missed the “Frozen Holiday Wish Castle Lighting” with the hundreds of lights draped on Cinderella Castle. The last time we saw lights on the castle was 2019, just before the park shut down for COVID-19. When the park reopened after COVID-19 shutdown the Castle Dream Lights, 32,000 square feet of fishing net supporting 200,000 LED lights making the castle look like its covered in ice, was not used. Then the castle went through a 50th anniversary transformation and again the lights were not put on.

The lights, which debuted in 2007, were originally part of the nightly “Cinderella’s Holiday Wish” show which later became “A Frozen Holiday Wish.”
