Everything coming to Walt Disney World this November 2023

The holiday season is barreling down upon us. The pumpkins and leaf wreaths around Disney World are being replaced by snowmen and snowflakes. November marks the change to the holiday season with special parties, food, and the introduction of some new things. Here’s a rundown at what’s coming to Disney World in November 2023.

November 2 -5: The Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend kicks off the month with a 5K, 10K and Half Marathon races during the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival.

November 6: Blizzard Beach waterpark reopens after a refurbishment and with some new food and beverage choices. Typhoon Lagoon closes, it will have its last day of operation on Nov. 5 before starting its annual refurbishment. Blizzard Beach will have a daily “snowfall” and Santa Claus will be vacationing in his holiday-finest beachwear.

November 7: A new Frozen holiday show debuts at Magic Kingdom this holiday season with the “Frozen Holiday Surprise.” The show features Olaf and more than 100 of his Snowgie siblings decorating Cinderella Castle with festive touches. Appearing live on stage in new holiday looks, Anna, Elsa, Olaf and Kristoff each bring something special to the gathering. Festivities culminate as Elsa adds sparkling finishing touches, transforming Cinderella Castle into a shimmering crystallized palace – a look that will remain throughout the evening.

November 9: The Festival of Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom returns to two shows daily for the remainder of November. The times will be noon and 3 p.m.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party kicks off the holiday season. This special-ticketed party takes place 25 times on select nights from Nov. 9 through Dec. 22 and features the return of festive favorites like the Christmas extravaganza stage show, “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration,” the sparkling spectacular “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks” and the merry must-see “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.”

November 10 -11: The Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic returns this year in November where guests will be treated to a street party festival with unlimited tastings of culinary selections from the hotel’s award-winning restaurants, including its newest restaurant, Rosa Mexicano, set to open this spring.

November 10: Disney Springs, Walt Disney World’s 120-acre entertainment, retail and dining district will be in full holiday swing. Here’s what you’ll find:

  • Special Entertainment – Meet Santa Claus and enjoy festive holiday tunes with live musical performances and DJs. Plus, encounter Toy Soldier Stilt Walkers and Snowflake Skaters. 
  • Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll – Discover Christmas around every corner, as you come across a collection of elaborately decorated Christmas trees throughout the neighborhoods of Disney Springs.
  • Let It Snow! – Flurries are in the forecast for Disney Springs Town Center. In the evenings, delight in a magical snowfall, adding an extra touch of wonder to your holiday shopping. 
  • Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar – Decked out for the season, this restaurant-meets-lounge offers eye-catching décor and tasty holiday-inspired menu items.

November 11: The holiday season officially kicks off at Walt Disney World:

Animal Kingdom

  • Merry Menagerie – See Discovery Island come to life with artisan-sculpted puppets of arctic animals—like penguins, reindeer, foxes and polar bears.
  • Tree of Life Awakenings Holiday Edition – Watch in awe as the park’s magnificent icon shimmers and sparkles each evening, accompanied by a heartwarming musical score. Experience begins at dusk and is subject to change.
  • Meet Favorite Disney Pals at Adventurer’s Outpost – Pose for a photo with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse all decked out in their holiday attire.
  • Seasonal Décor – Discover festive trimmings and touches around the park.

Hollywood Studios

  • For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration – Enjoy an unforgettable holiday finale featuring everyone’s favorite snowman, Olaf.
  • Sunset Seasons Greetings – Gaze in wonder as the Hollywood Tower Hotel is transformed nightly with holiday projections.
  • Minnie’s Holiday Dine at Hollywood & Vine – See Minnie Mouse and her pals during an oh-so-merry meal. Advance reservations are strongly recommended.
  • Toy Story Land Characters in Holiday Attire – See some Pixar pals decked out for the season.

Magic Kingdom

  • Seasonal Décor – Discover oh-so-jolly holiday trimmings and touches along Main Street, U.S.A. and throughout the park.
  • Jingle Cruise – During the holiday season, the beloved Jungle Cruise undergoes a yuletide transformation. It’s a festive-yet-familiar adventure from stem to stern!

Jollywood Nights, a new nighttime specially-ticketed party at Disney’s Hollywood Studios kicks off for 10 select nights in November and December. The new party will take place from 8:30 p.m to 12:30 a.m. on on night from Nov. 11 through Dec. 20, 2023, with the park decked out in its holiday glitz and glam, new stage shows and new dining opportunities. For an extra dose of cheer, the party wraps with the return of the nighttime spectacular, “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” projected on the Chinese Theatre.

November 18: The EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival

November 24: The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays kicks off and takes place through Dec. 30, 2023. Savor treasured recipes from around the globe at Holiday Kitchens. And embark on a journey with Holiday Storytellers sharing holiday traditions from around the world. It includes:

  • Candlelight Processional – Hear the stirring story of Christmas presented by a celebrity narrator, accompanied by an orchestra and massed choir.
  • Meet Santa Claus at the Odyssey Pavilion – Get in the holiday spirit by joining Santa Claus in his snow-covered sleigh—November 24 to December 24, 2023. 
  • Living with the Land – Glimmering Greenhouses – Celebrate the most bountiful time of the year on a special voyage through greenhouses glimmering with dazzling lights—November 24 to December 30, 2023.
  • More Holiday Entertainment – Watch as Holiday Storytellers bring beloved traditions such as Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, Lunar New Year and more to life! Witness stories told through music and dance, with performers in traditional costumes—November 24 to December 30, 2023.

Coming Late November: The Hatbox Ghost is scheduled to start appearing inside The Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom.
